West Berlin
Eastern Center, formerly West Berlin, is where a lot of stars were born.
Walk down the world famous "Kurfürstendamm" boulevard. In the past, a lot of movies had been build using this famous "street." You will find plenty of shops and cafés, whose invite you to rest.
The "Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche" (Memorial Church) is well-worth seeing, too. It was destroyed during the Second World War and only partly reconstructed afterwards.
Around this church is a typical example of modern commercial buildings of the 50th and 60th. For example, it has Berlin's first Shopping Mall (Europa-Center), cinemas, restaurants and department stores.
You should also visit the "KaDeWe" at the lovely underground station "Wittenbergplatz", the "Ludwig-Erhard-Haus" and the "Savigny-Platz."
