My site is growing day in and day out. Heck, I'm working really hard on that!

To prove it I have an interesting short report for you. You know Alexa, right?! Well, Alexa is the indicator to see, how often a site is visited and how other users rate this site.

Frankly, we currently have more than 53 Million websites (domains) in our world.

Okay, so much to the mathematics. Now to the funny part - the statistics :-)

On December 21st, 2004, I registered this domain. At the end of December my site was already at position 1,219,418 (the lower the number the more people are visiting this site). It seems that a lot of people already waited for a site like mine... :-)

Anyway, at January 10th, 2005, my site ranking went up to position 888,040. Now look at this here, where my site ranks today :

Yeah, it's in the TOP 1 % of all sites out there! :-) And my site rank will go up and up ;-) Just check back often here and see. It's incredible how other people like what I have to offer. Heck, I just throw out of my head what I explored over the last 14 years... ;-) Anyway, a great tool to find out how other sites rank is the free Alexa Toolbar.

And here are my recommendations for you and your trip(s). Some of them are from friends, some are affiliate links. Means, you don't have to buy anything there, sure. But if you would, I would get a few cents.

I know, not a big wallet yet, but this is not my point here. The main reason for me creating this site is giving you information, not selling things to you. Recommending, yes, but not selling. And for me a recommendation means a lot as opposed to a sell. You can sell anything, but you only recommend what you yourself personally like and use/would use. That's my point here.

I myself have two posters sticking on the wall close to my desk. One is a map of Germany and the other of our world. Oh man, I love to look on my world map and think about when and where to travel next :-)) So, if you'd like to have one too, I have found a site with quite good ones.

You already know Amazon, don't you? For what I often look there are books. And as you like to travel, they have some awesome books about it. Go and check'em out.

Oh my, I love travelling by train so much! You can relax, you can explore the country comfortably, you can talk to other people, etc etc. So, I did a research on the net how you can experience that too and participate on some rabates and low-price-tickets. I think RailEurope does deliver this.

Another "partner" in travelling by train is our German Rail. I used the quotation marks, because we have no other company for train travel in Germany. Our German Rail and its tracks are state-owned. Anyway, sometimes they have rabates too.

For Accomodations I've found OctopusTravel, a company which delivers some interesting and nice-priced room rates. They deliver also vacation packages.

If you would be me, you wouldn't like to plan your trips. I often travel very spontaneous. Frankly, I love spontaneousness! If you would ask me to come next year, I would ask you, "Why not tomorrow?". So, if you are spontaneous too, go Lastminute.com and reserve your seat :-)

Sometimes it is good to ensure having enough accessories for our trips, right? Imagine, going on a trip, but your luggage is broken. No!, you don't have to think about more on this! :-) Anyway, at IRVS you find a lot of stuff, I would immediately buy to ensure having an awesome trip.

As you sit on your computer right now, I also do that quite often. But what are you doing on your trips to get access to all your data? With this company here you're able to get access to your data from any browser. It's supposed to be totally secure. They have also a free trial.

If you'd like to get some Music, Video and/or Software for your trip(s), there is a service on the net where you can download it - 100% legally.

As far as I love to travel, I am often scared being alone. So, it happened sometimes, that I used an online service to find my mate or even partners for my final destinations. You also can find a friend now and never be alone again :-)

Do you know, that I not alone study the English language, but the Portuguese language as well? And how am I doing this? Books? No. Tapes? Nope, not at all. What then? I personally use Rosetta Stone. I learn languages with this awesome tool ten times faster than with any other tool.
