Nymphenburg Castle — One Of Munich's Paradise!
The Baroque Nymphenburg Castle (Schloß Nymphenburg), situated in Munich's west, was the summer residency of the Bavarian monarchs.
Up to today successors of the royal Wittelsbacher family live in adjoining buildings of the castle.
The Residence and many of the pavillions in the park, including the Amalienburg, Badenburg and Pagodenburg, are open to visitors.
The spacious park is popular with Munich residents and visitors alike. The area contains a huge garden with flowers, animals, and a small lake.
It is one of the most mannigfaltic and most beautiful botanical gardens in Europe with ideal connection of instruction, aesthetics, and recovery. The greenhouse facilities with 6,000 different types of plants is one of Europe's richest.
And in winter, it looks and feels like being in a paradiese (see the photo on the right?). ![]()
This wonderful paradise makes us feel comfortable, and forward looking to the next paradise, the English Garden...
